Why RedPlus Works

RedPlus uses empty-lung breath-holds to create short, repeatable drops in arterial oxygen saturation (SpO₂). This provides a controlled hypoxic stimulus that support physiological signalling related to oxygen transport and red blood cell adaptation.

SpO₂ guides the stimulus

Think of SpO₂ like a power meter for hypoxic training. Instead of estimating the training load, RedPlus measures your actual SpO₂ response and uses defined zones to help make the stimulus measurable, repeatable and controlled.

The dose can be personalized

People respond differently to hypoxia. RedPlus allows the training stimulus to be adjusted according to the individual SpO₂ response rather than forcing every athlete toward the same number.

Lower is not always better. The goal is the right stimulus — repeated consistently.

From stimulus to adaptation

Repeated hypoxic exposure may activate oxygen-sensing pathways and erythropoietic signalling, including EPO-related mechanisms. Over time, this contribute to adaptations associated with red blood cell production and oxygen-transport capacity.

RedPlus tracks it for you

RedPlus automatically records key session data such as SpO₂ response, breath-hold duration, Time in Zone, recovery and session progression.

Instead of manually remembering and recording every response, the app follows the training stimulus for you — making hypoxic training easier to monitor, compare and progress over time.
